ACEINNA, Inc. is a leading MEMS based sensing solutions company, focusing on the development of innovative Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and current sensing technologies that are essential to next generation cars, robots and other autonomous applications. Our product lines cover MHz bandwidth Magneto-Resistance (MR) based electric current sensors, high-performance open source IMUs, Real Time Kinematic (RTK) navigation systems, and centimeter-precision positioning services.

ACEINNA provides highly accurate, wide bandwidth, fully isolated and affordable current sensors.  ACEINNA’s current sensors are all in one, easy to integrate current sensors for inverters and motor control, industrial robots and manufacturing systems, telecom and server farm power supplies, automotive EV charging stations, IoT appliance, home automation and many other tech applications.

ACEINNA’s new MCx1101 family of ±5A, ±20A, and ±50A Current Sensors for industrial and power supply applications are the first high accuracy wide bandwidth AMR-based current sensors on the market.  These integrated, AMR based Current Sensors provide the best performance for the price in the industry.

The fully integrated 3.3V and 5V MCX1101 current sensors provide industry benchmark performance for accuracy, bandwidth, and output step response time. With total error as low as 0.6% (typ), 3dB bandwidth of 1.5MHz with low phase delay, and <300ns transient response, these current sensors have 4.8kV of isolation. They are available in fixed gain output (“MCA”) and ratiometric output (“MCR”) options.

These new current sensors also guarantee an offset of ±60mA, or ±0.3% of FSR (max) over temperature, which means that high accuracy can be achieved over a roughly 10:1 range of currents. This is a roughly 10x improvement in dynamic range vs. leading Hall-sensor-based devices. For Current Sensor technical details and data sheets, please visit https://www.aceinna.com/current-sensors.

ACEINNA’s MEMS-based, open source Inertial Measurement Units are easy to integrate, cost effective triple redundant IMUs for developing navigation & localization solutions for autonomous vehicles, Robots, Drones, and Industrial, Construction, and Agricultural Machinery.

This triple-redundant architecture, combined with the small, low-cost packaging, meets the challenging performance, reliability and cost requirements of the automotive market including the areas of Autonomous Vehicles, Self-Driving Taxis/Delivery Vehicles. ADAS Systems, Electronic Stability Control, Lane Keep Assist applications, etc.

Technical features include a Triple Redundant, 3 axis MEMS angular rate sensor, Triple Redundant, High Performance 3 axis MEMS Accelerometer, Open Source Tool Chain and Custom Algorithms, ARM M4 CPU and built in 16-State Open Source Extended State Kalman Filter. The ACEINNA OpenIMUs also includes Automotive Grade ASIL-B versions, SPI and UART interfaces, Wide Temp Range, -40C to +85C, High Reliability, and an open community & development support.

Development tools – Embedded navigation applications can be quickly developed on PC, MAC, and Ubuntu and deployed to run on OpenIMU hardware. ACEINNA Navigation Studio developer tools and GUI are found on our developer site: developers.aceinna.com

With headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, ACEINNA was spun off from MEMSIC, Inc. in 2017. Our CEO, Dr. Yang Zhao, founded MEMSIC in 1999 to design, develop and manufacture world-class MEMS sensors. MEMSIC became the first pure-play MEMS company listed on the NASDAQ.

ACEINNA products and technologies are based on 20 years of innovation and development efforts at MEMSIC. MEMSIC’s 3D magnetic compass product has been installed in over 600 million mobile phones, and its Inertial Navigation System (INS) has been deployed in over 600 types of aircraft with over 100,000 units shipped in various applications.
